Dirt and Tired

I got back from a camping weekend. My lips are chapped, and I am dirty and sore. When can I do it again?

But the place which you have selected for your camp, though never so rough and grim, begins at once to have its attractions, and becomes a very centre of civilization to you: "Home is home, be it never so homely."  ~Henry David Thoreau

Finnland

I wish I could go some place. Anywhere, I don't care where it is, I just want to go someplace. Right now, that place is Finland! They herd reindeer there.
Aww. They look so cute. Sadly, some of them get eaten. They eat a lot of meat in Finland. Not the best place for a vegetarian.
I love all the bright colors that they wear. I wonder how ofter they wear these clothes?

Book.

I just finished (or not just) the book Torment by Lauren Kate. It was a sequel to the book fallen and so as not to give anything away, I will tell you about that book instead. A girl named Luce thinks that she knows the boy Daniel Grigori. He makes her life at her current school a little bit more bearable. The school -Sword and Cross- is were they send the "Bad" students. She isn't ment to be there but she must deal with waht she is given. And that is Daniel. While she tries to get closer to him, he seems to try to avoid her more and more. They become close and soon Luce finds out that Daniel is really a fallen angel. That seems to be the next big thing. Instead of vampires, there will now be angels. I'm not too crazy about the isea but that may just be because I am out of the Teenage Girl Books. You know, the ones with some sort of supernatural goings-on in them. Involves love, happy ending.

Now that I finished that book, I started-and am almost done with another book: The Grimm Legacy by Polly Shulman. It happens to include Grimm's Fairy Tales, which you probably guessed. Oh! I just remembered-I finished that book. Now I can start another book. I want to read Enthusiasm, also by her. But I don't have that right now so I will read Chasing Yesterday:Awakening by Robin Wasserman.

Love this cabinent. Is it a cabinent or what. Oh well. I'll let you decide, invisible peoples.

And, also loving this antique little bottle. Isn't it a gorgeous color?
I have been tired all this week becouse of star testing. I hate it. Why do we have to do something that has no effect on our grade?

Quotes and Jelly and Blogs

Right now I am looking for exotic foods that I can either make at home or do not require any preperation (fresh produce). I found this recepe for rose petal jelly. I had never heard of it before and Iwant to try it out. The color os amazing.I also found lavender jelly, dandelion jelly, rose hip jelly, and this blog with other jellies. I find all of them really nice becouse they can be found literally in my own backyard!
 Rose Jelly
Dandilion Jelly
While browsing the internet I found two lovely food blogs. The first is Poor Girl Gourmet. It tells a lot about spending frugally (is that a word?) on food. The second,Taste Spotting, gives a wide range of food that is visable to you in the form of pictures. I love pictures.
Another thing, I will also start putting quotes on my blog each day. I have relized that it is unrealistic to think that I will post a long thing each day. Now Sometimes it will just be a quote on how I am feeling, other times it will be accompanied by other information.
Well that is all for now, I hope you all have a great Easter!

"Vegetarians"

Sometomes there is just some things that really make me so exasperated that I could just start pulling my hair out. One of those things is the peaple who call themselves "vegetarians". If you eat fish, or chicken, you aren't a vegetarian! It drives me crazy that people should call themselves that when they really aren't. It is still good that they are eating less meat and I want them to do that. Just don't call yourself a vegetarian. Restaurants do this too. They will put somthing in their menu that is called vegetarian or meat-free when really it has fish or some other meat product. If it isn't vegetarian then don't call it that.

To Do List April 15th 2011

TO DO LIST
Find ten songs fpr Romeo and Juliet CD project
Do Act 5 quote cards
Finish coloring art worksheet
Start the still-life for art, needs 2-3 pieces fruit or vegtable, shading, horizon line and shadows
Clean room
Paint nail
Compleate math workbook
Go to Van's health food store and get Rye flour, yogurt starter, and Brewer's Yeast
Brewer's yeast is a good source of protein and helps rid toxins in the body. It also boosts the body's immune system and is good for healthier skin, nails, and hair.
Yogurt can be very healthy although a lot fo the nutrients cannot be found in the store bought ones. If it is made at hame, it ends up being much healthier for you. Another great thing is that buying a starter  is that it ends up costing a lot less. Plus, yogurt is such a yummy delidhious food. Right now my favorite kind is vanana from Trader Joe's. I have to be careful when buying yogurt becouse a lot of brands have gelatin in them, and being a vegetarian, I can't eat that.

New Plan

From now on this blog will be more than just little pretty pictures. It will be for me to read and for my own pleasure. I like to make lists so that is what I will do here.It will me blog of lists and things that I like and how I feel at that particular moment in time.
So here is something that I want at this moment. This is a five year diary and it has little spaces for each day where you can record a few small thoughts. I think that this ia a very origional idea and I might buy one for myself. I really don't need one becouse I already have one that is a blue marble pattern with a puppy on it. Not the most stylish design in . I will be on the lookout for more journals.
